Espectáculo moldado na ideia de se comunicar este tempo do mundo, através de uma narrativa fragmentada e poética que tem como ponto de partida "pequenos nadas" que nos projectam num percurso caracterizado pelo encontro de sonhos e desejos. Concretizado em movimento, palavra, imagem e música, conjuga um corpo colectivo numa paisagem suspensa e livre. O Nada é espectáculo de fusão de autorias vivido na amplitude máxima de cada contributo.

O Nada, com direcção artística da coreógrafa Ana Rita Barata e do realizador Pedro Sena Nunes encerra a trilogia que assume como tema estruturante de ligação o TEMPO, iniciada com O Aqui (Teatro Camões, 16 de Abril 2009) e adensada por O Depois (São Luiz Teatro Municipal, 17 de Dezembro de 2010).
O Nada reflecte cinco anos de trabalho com os intérpretes da CiM. O Nada é uma investigação sobre as questões de tempo-espaço e movimento-corpo. Pesquisam-se as relações de fascínio e descoberta entre pessoas.
Os intérpretes estão física e emocionalmente focados na claridade da construção da memória. Procuramos uma brancura com forte valor figurativo. O espaço cénico está povoado de elementos alusivos à ausência de materialidade. Podemos construir O Nada a partir de “paredes” que não existem, grandiosas e frágeis. Exploramos a poética do ar, do vento, do imaterial. Queremos deixar que os espaços tomem o lugar das acções e das palavras.

CiM premières new creation NOTHING at Guimarães

[nothing between the ground and the sky…]
Transdisciplinary performance shaped by the idea and within the responsibility of communicating this particular time of the world, through a poetic and fragmented narrative that assumes as its starting point a journey on silence and on the echoes of a dream. Accomplished in movement, words, images and music, intends to combine the existence of a joint orchestration of a collective body in a suspended landscape. Performance resulting of several authorships’ merge and lived on the maximum amplitude of each contribution.

Nothing, with artistic direction of the choreographer Ana Rita Barata and the director Pedro Sena Nunes concludes the trilogy that takes TIME as its structuring theme of conduction, started with Here (Teatro Camões , 16th April 2009) and condensed by After (São Luiz Teatro Municipal, 17th December 2010).
Nothing reflects five years of working with CiM’s performers. Nothing is an investigation on issues of time-space and body-movement. Fascination and discovery relationships between people are steadily researched. The performers are physically and emotionally focused on a clarity construction of memory. We seek for whiteness with a strong character that can be turned onto shape.
The stage is populated with elements alluding to the lack of materiality. We can build Nothing from grand and fragile "walls" that own no actual existence. We explore the poetics of air, wind, of the immaterial. We want that spaces take the place of actions and words.
CiM - Integrated Multidisciplinary Company is a contemporary dance innovative project which joins together interpreters with and without disability, promoting a quite unique approach to inclusion while aiming for high artistic standards.
